Elkhart Proposal (Corn Belt) was a proposed coal plant in Elkhart, Illinois.[1] The project received a clean coal combustion grant from the U.S. Department of Energy.
According to the Sierra Club’s March 2007 update, the plans for the plant have been cancelled. [2]
