Emden Power Station was a 1600 megawatt (MW) coal plant proposed by Dong Energy in Lower Saxony, Germany.
2009: Project cancelled
According to Deutsche Umwelthilfe, the project was abandonment due to economical reasons and business factors in October 2009.[1]
