Background
This natural gas pipeline is part of Gasunie's L-gas to H-gas conversion, and will carry biogas, and possibly Hydrogen in the future. The biogas will be produced in Emden, and will be carried through the 60 km long pipeline. The project was initially proposed in 2018, with an expected commissioning date of 2022. However, delays in permitting and construction mean that the pipeline is now expected to be operational in 2025.[5]
