Background
The Eten power station is a 225 MW diesel- and gas-fired power plant in Eten, in the northern region of Lambayeque, Peru. The Peruvian authorities awarded a 20-year concession contract for the design, construction, and operation of the plant to a consortium comprising the Ministry of Energy and Mining and a special purpose company established by Cobra and Enersa. Investment in the plant was estimated at approximately US$113 million.[5]
