The project is located at an existing substation in the Rock Harbor neighborhood approximately 6 miles west of New Tazewell, and consists of modular server banks.[1] It has been met with strong community concerns related to noise, visual impact and fire risk.[2][3] Many in the community have expressed that they were never informed of the project until construction was complete. While prior reports have indicated that the project is owned by Exponential Digital, others report that it is owned by Primeblock. Neither corporations' websites currently contain any clarifying information about the project.
