Background

Frankfurt Oder coal-fired power station was commissioned in 1997 by Stadtwerke Frankfurt.[4]

Coal retirement

As of November 2022, Stadtwerke Frankfurt was not planning to decommission the coal-fired unit until 2024.[5]
