Background

Fulaerji-1 power station began as a 9 x 25 MW coal-fired power plant commissioned from 1969 to 1992. The plant is owned by China Huadian.[1] The plant's first six units were retired in 2016, and units 7-9 were set to be retired in 2017, after the 350 MW unit was commissioned in 2016, but did not appear to actually retire until 2022.[2][3][4]

Expansion

In 2016, a 350 MW supercritical unit 10 was commissioned.[5][6][2]
