GMR Kamalanga Energy is a subsidiary of GMR Energy, which in turn is a part of the GMR Group, a privately owned Indian infrastructure company with interests in airports, energy, highways and urban infrastructure.[1]
GMR Kamalanga Energy is currently building the Kamalanga power station, a 1050 megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant comprising three 350 MW units [2] The plant is located in Kamalanga in Orissa’s Dhenkanal District, India.[3]
