GR-5 Gas Pipeline , انبوب الغاز (جي أر5), is an existing natural gas pipeline, running from the Reggane gas fields to Hassi R'Mel, Algeria.

The pipeline runs from the Reggane gas fields, Adrar province, to Hassi R'Mel, Laghouat province, Algeria.
Background
The 770-kilometer GR-5 gas pipeline[1] was built to bring gas from the Reggane Nord, Touat, and Timimoun gas fields to Hassi R'Mel. The project began in 2009, with research and engineering done by Sofregaz.[2] The project was the first phase of Sonatrach’s South West Gas Project (SWGP).[3] The pipeline was inaugurated in February 2018.[4]
