Background

The power station was originally founded in 1958.[1] By 2017, there were three units still operating.[2][3] Unit 4 was retired in 2021.[4] It supplies heat to the county of Gaotang.

One other source said the power plant was located in Jincheng Road<,ref>http://www.gmgmj.com/comcontent_detail2/&i=5&comContentId=5.html (archive)</ref> therefore the name was Jincheng power station. However, from the Google map, one could see the plant on Jincheng road has been demolished and was residential buildings now.
