Background on Mine
The Gare Palma-I coal block, with a capacity of 21 million tons per annum, was auctioned off to Gujarat State Electricity Corporation in March 2015.[2]
As of 2020, the company received environmental clearance for one x 800 MW coal-based supercritical thermal power plant in Gujarat, poentially reviving the project after years of being shelved.
