Background

The Garividi power station project is a 45 megawatt (MW) coal fired power station which has been proposed by Facor Power. The power station is adjacent to the FACOR Group’s existing Andhra Pradesh ferro alloys plant situated in the Garividi district of Andhra Pradesh. "The Construction of the Garividi Plant is expected to be commence in October 2011 and is expected to be completed and operational by October 2013," the company states on its website.[1]
