Background

Inaugurated in April 2003, the 127-kilometer Palmillas-Toluca pipeline supplies natural gas to the industrial zones of Pastejé, Toluca and Huichitán in the state of Mexico. The pipeline cost US$46 million to build. It has a diameter of 16 inches and a capacity of 2.72 million cubic meters per day, or 96 million cubic feet per day. The pipeline's operator Tejas Gas de Toluca S. de R.L de C.V. is a subsidiary of Fermaca Global.
