Green Ridge Mine

The Green Ridge Mine in Pineville, West Virginia extracts coal from the Pocahontas No. 3 seam, which is trucked to the Pinnacle Preparation Plant for processing and shipment. The mine is owned by Cliffs Natural Resources, an international mining and natural resources company.[1]
In April 2009, Cliffs idled the mine indefinitely.[2]
