Background
The Gresik-Batam-Singapore Gas Pipeline is an operational natural gas pipeline. Commissioned in 2003, the pipeline is designed for a capacity of 650 mmscf/day.[1] In December 2019 Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources stated that Indonesia would stop delivery of gas to Singapore when the current contract for the Gresik-Batam-Singapore pipeline expires in 2023.[5]
