Background on Project

Hebei Construction & Investment Group is currently planning to build a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 700 MW in Hebei Province.[1][2][3]

The project was permitted in January 2016.[4] Construction is planned to begin in December 2016. The units are planned to come online in 2018.[5]

Unit 1 was commissioned in July 2019.[6]
