The H2ercules project is a large-scale collaboration between OGE & RWE, along with other smaller partners such as Thyssengas & Nowega to create a hydrogen transmission system across the Western half of Germany, along with an East-West connection in the South of Germany. The larger project is broken up into a number of smaller projects, promoted by both individual TSO's and collaborations between them.
The "Get H2 Nukleus" is the largest of the projects, and is central to the envisioned German hydrogen transmission network.[2]
The route for the project is derived from the H2inframap, which displays a collection of hydrogen-related projects across Europe.[1]

The Get H2 Pipeline is a series of pipeline projects spearheaded by OGE, in association with a number of smaller partners. The first phase of the project, the "Get H2 Nukleus" runs from Lingen to Marl. The second phase features connections with additional industrial clusters in Gelsenkirchen and Duisburg, as well as a connection to the Netherlands Hydrogen Backbone at Vlieghuis. The final phases of the project feature a link from Marl to Salzgitter, and will feature connections to the Green Octopus Mitteldeutschland and HyPerLink pipelines.[4]
This pipeline consists of both newly built hydrogen pipelines and converted natural gas pipelines.
Although ENTSOG's 2024 TYNDP does not feature an exact pipeline with this name, OGE notes that segments from Dorsten-Hamborn, Gescher-Dorsten, and Vreden-Gescher under the "OGE H2ercules North-West" project (H2T-A-1075), along with Bad Bentheim-Ledgen, Emsbüren-Bad Bentheim, Heek-Epe, and Legden-Dorsten under "OGE H2ercules Central" (H2T-A-0) are part of this project.[5]
