Haldia Energy Limited, a subsidiary of CESC, is a power generation company proposing to establish two coal-fired thermal power stations. The Dhariwal power station is located at Tadali, Chandrapur, in Maharshtra and the Haldia Energy power station at Baneswar Chak near Jhikurkhali village, Haldia. Both paorposals are for 600 megawatt plants comprising two 300MW units.
