Hartogshoop coal mine is a small coal mine in the Witbank coal field owned by Coal of Africa Limited (CoAL) located in the Limpopo Province.

On its website CoAL states that "open cast mining commenced in December 2009 and has a steady state of production with a maximum capacity of 60,000 ROM tonnes per month. Hartogshoop is a 24-month contractor operation with the mining method being essentially Opencast Truck and Shovel Roll Over. The mining layout is a single boxcut of 600 metres in length."
