Location
The pipeline runs from Hassi Berkine to Haoudh el Hamra, in Ouargla province, Algeria.
Background
The pipeline is operated by Sonatrach.[1] In 2001 ABB won a $70 million contract to expand the pipeline's capacity from 17 million barrels per year to 23 million barrels per year.[2] It is assumed that the extension was the second trunk line (OH4).
