Background
The company planed to relocate to the Haigang Economic Development Zone. In August 2020, construction of two 1780m3 blast furnaces and two 140-ton converters started.[1][2]On December 24, 2021, the first converter was successfully tested.[3]
The Fengrun plant of Hebei Tianzhu Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. ceased production in July 2022, and the company's production will be fully transferred to the Seaport Economic Development Zone.[4]
