Hejin power station (晋能控股漳泽电力河津发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1300-megawatts (MW) in Yangcun Town, Hejin, Yuncheng, Shanxi, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 河津三期“上大压小” (Unit 5, Unit 6).

Background

Hejin consists of two coal-fired power station phases. Hejin-1 is a 2x350 MW plant commissioned in 2000. Hejin-2 is a 2x300 MW plant commissioned in 2005. They are owned by Datong Coal Mining Group.[1]

In June 2021, an additional 2,000 expansion (Hejin-3) was referenced.[2]
