Background

Hongmei LNG Terminal is a 1 million tonnes per year import LNG terminal in Dongguan, Guangdong. It began construction in 2008 and was commissioned in 2012. It's the first private owned LNG terminal in China by Jovo Group.

The Terminal contains two 80,000-cubic-meter-storage tanks. The designed receiving capacity is 1.5 mtpa. However, in a Revision of Gas Special Planning in Changping Town, Dongguan (2019-2035), the capacity of Hongmei LNG terminal is 1 mtpa, and the actual receiving capacity is 0.7 mtpa.

九丰 LNG 接收站于 2012 年 6 月开车运行，设计年周转能力 100 万吨（折合气态天然气约 14 亿立方米），目前年周转能力为 70 万吨左右。东莞九丰 LNG 项目项目年销售量为 70×104 吨/年，目前采用汽车槽车运至珠三角及周边的 LNG 卫星站。
