Hongqingliang Coal Mine (杭锦旗西部能源开发有限公司红庆梁煤矿) is located within the Taran Gaole Mining Area of Inner Mongolia, China. Its annual production capacity is designed to be 6 million tonnes(Mt) a year.

Coal Mine Background

In July 2015, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has ratified the construction of Hongqingliang Coal Mine located in Taran Gaole Mining Area, with a total production capacity of 6Mt/year.

The construction of the principal part of the project started in May 2012 and was completed in June 2018. In the same year, the Hongqinghe Coal Mine entered into the phase of experimental operation.
