Background on Project
In 2006 China Huaneng began the pre-feasibility study to build a four-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 2,640 MW in Shandong Province.[1]
The project was mentioned in the company's 2012 SEC filing, but only in regard to a 2009 Equity Interest Transfer case.[2] The project appears to have been cancelled.
