Hubei Yicheng power station (湖北能源襄阳宜城发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 2000-megawatts (MW) in Yicheng, Xiangyang, Hubei, China. It is also known as 湖北能源宜城路口发电项目.

Background on Project
Hubei Yicheng power station is a proposed 2 x 1,000 MW coal plant in the city of Yicheng, proposed by Hubei Energy Group in June 2020.[2]
It was permitted for construction in December 2020.[3]
Construction began in October 2021.[4]
Unit 1 entered operation on 14 July 2023.[5][6]
