Ibadan–Jebba Gas Pipeline is a proposed pipeline in Nigeria.[1][2][3]
Location
The pipeline would start in Ibadan, Nigeria and end in Jebba, Nigeria, passing through Illorin, Nigeria along the way.[1]
Project details
Background
The pipeline was proposed in 2017.[4]
Axxela Ltd submitted a feasibility study to build the 510-km network across western and central Nigerian states.[5][6]
The pipeline was conceived as part of the Nigeria Gas Master Plan of 2013.[7] The route would start in Ibadan, Oyo and run through the towns of Osogbo, Ogbomoso, Ilorin, Ado-Ekiti, and terminate in Jebba, located in Kwara.[5]
In September 2020, the governor or Kwara, Nigeria reportedly discussed the pipeline with the Nigerian Ministry of Petroleum Resources.[3]
