Independence Complex

The Independence Complex "includes the Revolution longwall mine, two underground room and pillar mines and a preparation plant that also processes a portion of the coal from the Black Castle and Endurance Resource Groups. Coal is shipped via CSX rail in unit trains of up to 150 cars."[1] The Independence plant has a processing capacity of 2,200 tons per hour.[2]
