Background
Istoksky Coal Mine is a SURFACE coal mine in Promyshlennovsky District, Kemerovo, Russia. Istoksky coal mine was announced in 2023, although the license was reportedly issued already in 2012 and construction of the mine has been delayed.[3]
In summer 2023 the mine received approval from Glavgosekspertiza, with a few corrections.[4] License runs until 2037.[5]
Razrez Istoksky LLC is 95% owned by Holding Coal Company LLC, which in turn is hold by Region-Stroy LLC with 92.5%.[3][5] KN-Invest LLC holds 5%. [5]
