Background
According to BOTAŞ Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS), the state-owned crude oil and natural gas pipelines and trading company in Turkey, the pipeline has supplied natural gas to Ereğli Iron and Steel Works Plants since January 1996.[4]
