Background
JK Cement Ltd. was established in 1974.[1]
IN 2016, Jaykaycem (Central) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JK Cement Ltd, proposed the greenfield integrated cement plant with a capacity of 5.28 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) clinker and 6 mtpa cement along with 80 MW Captive Power Plant and 30 MW Waste Heat Recovery System in two phases in Panna, Madhya Pradesh, India. The cement grinding plant at Panna plant was commissioned and first dispatch done on 02 November, 2022. According to the Investor presentation Q2 FY23, the clinkerisation process was expected to start soon after.[2]
In 2023, Jaykaycem (Central) Limited was merged into the parent company JK Cement Ltd.[3][4]
