Background
In the 2019-2028 long-range plan, the project was listed as 50-MW and was scheduled for 2028.[1]
In October 2021, the plant was shelved under the government's long-range plan for 2021-2030.[2]
In October 2023, with no apparent news since the project was shelved, Jayapura-3 power station was presumed to be cancelled.
