Jiamusi-2 power station (佳木斯第二发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 600-megawatts (MW) in Dongfeng, Jiamusi, Heilongjiang, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 华电佳木斯热电厂 (Unit 4, Unit 5), 大唐佳木斯第二发电厂 (Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3).

Background

Jiamusi power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 600 MW in Heilongjiang Province, China.[1] The plant's first three units totaling 200 MW have been retired, and were owned by China Datang . The currently operating units were completed in 2008, and are owned by China Huadian.[2]
