As of 1998, the station supplied electricity solely to the Tarjun cement factory, operated by PT Indocement.[1][2]

In August 2022, Indocement began sourcing 50 MW of electricity from PLN.[3] Kalimantan Cement Works power station was decommissioned.[4]

In 2023, Indocement installed solar panels at the Tarjun factory.[5]
