Kartaly-Rudny-Kostanai Gas Pipeline (Russian: МГ «Карталы-Рудный-Костанай», Kazakh: «Қарталы-Рудный-Қостанай» газ құбыры) is an operating gas pipeline running from Russia to Kazakhstan.[1]

Location

The pipeline runs from the Kartaly compressor station, Kartalinsky District, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia, to Kostanai city, Kostanai Region, Kazakhstan, through Rudny, Kostanai Region, Kazakhstan.[2]

Background

The pipeline starts at the Kartaly compressor station at the Bukhara-Ural Gas Pipeline and transports gas from Russia in exchange for gas from the Karachaganak Oil and Gas Field (Kazakhstan).
