Background
The Kiralyegyhaza plant is the youngest cement plant in Hungary, with investments in modern technologies to improve environmental performance. In 2014, the plant inaugurated a Euro2.28m alternative fuel warehouse, and in 2021 the plant implemented an alternative fuel (AF) flash dryer, which uses residual hot gas from the chlorine bypass system in conjunction with a satellite burner for firing the material in the kiln.
