Background
The project has been proposed by Triton Energy to be built at the village of Kochar, Aurangabad district, Bihar, India.[1]
The Bihar State Investment Promotion Board notes that the company was originally given investment approval for the project in 2008 to be built at Navinagar in Aurangabad district but in October 2009 gained approval for the project to be proposed instead at Kochar.[1]
However, as of 2014 the project has not received environmental permits, and may have been cancelled.
