Along with Bolobo Oil and Gas Field (Chad), Maikeri Oil Field (Chad), Miandoum Oil Field (Chad), Moundouli Oil Field (Chad), Nya Oil Field (Chad), and Timbre Oil Field (Chad), Kome is a part of the Doba Oil Project complex.
