Background

Kryvyi Rih Cement Plant specializes in the production of various types of slag cement.[1]

The plant started operating in 1952. In 1991, outdated production lines were decommissioned. In 2001, HeidelbergCement acquired the plant. In 2005, three kilns were modernized. Kryvyi Rih Cement LLC and Dneproprocement LLC merged. In 2008, the company was renamed PrJSC HeidelbergCement Ukraine. In 2019, the company changed to PrJSC “Kryvyi Rih Cement.”[1]
