Background

Around 2015 Iberdrola and GE announced plans to build a power plant at CHEMPARK chemical industry site.[7] Steag GmbH acquired the project that same year.[8] Sources still listed the project in development in 2019[9]. However it is not mentioned in Steag's 2019 Management report.[10] It is included in the 2021-2035 "Genehmigung des Szenariorahmens".[11]
