Background

According to the project capacity replacement plan announcement, it is planned to construct 2×1200m3 blast furnaces. Before the completion and production of the mentioned construction project, 1×450m3 and 3×680m3 blast furnaces will be phased out. Additionally, there is a plan to build 2×100t basic oxygen furnaces and 2×70t electric-arc furnaces; and 4×60t basic oxygen furnaces will be retired before the project's construction and production. In 2021, the company decided not to build 70t electric-arc furnace. In August 2021, 2×1200m3 blast furnaces and 2×100t basic oxygen furnaces put into operation.
