Linyi power station

Linyi power station (华能临沂发电有限公司9F级2×475MW燃机热电项目(1,2), 华能临沂热电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1120-megawatts (MW) in Qingyun Town, Linyu County, Linyi, Shandong, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 华能临沂发电厂 (Phase II Unit 1, Phase II Unit 2).

Background

Linyi-1 power station is a four-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 560 MW in Shandong Province. It was completed between 1997 and 2004. Three earlier units have been retired. The plant is majority-owned by China Huaneng.[4]

Linyi-2, totaling 700 MW, was completed in 2013.[4]
