Background
The original sponsor MVM GTER Gázturbinás Erőmű Zártkörűen Működő Részvénytársaság[3] changed its name to MVM Balance Private Limited Company (MVM Balance Zártkörűen Működő Részvénytársaság) as of March 1, 2021.[4]
In 2020 MVM Group announced they would be adding a 100 MW lithium-ion battery storage unit at the plant's site.[5]
