Longder power station (台塑化龍德發電廠) is an operating power station of at least 324-megawatts (MW) in Dongshan Town and Su'ao Town, Yilan, Taiwan. It is also known as Long De plant, Longde plant.

Background

The Longder power station is a captive power plant that supplies electricity and steam to the Formosa Plastics group's facilities.[1] It was commissioned in 2000 by the Formosa Plastics group to support its operations.[2] In 2017-2018, the Longder plant underwent renovations to add emission control technology and other environmental protection and monitoring equipment to meet new environmental standards.[3]
