Background
Louisiana LNG Terminal is a proposed LNG terminal in Louisiana, United States.[2] Parallax Energy acquired Louisiana LNG Energy LLC while it was in the pre-filing environmental review stage before Federal Energy and Regulatory Commission filing.[2]
Cheniere Energy Inc. later agreed to co-sponsor the terminal, but after disputes, FERC terminated the companies' pre-filing review due to inaction, and no development has occurred since.
After Parallax and Cheniere's involvement in the projected ended, Pointe LNG, LCC revived the terminal as Pointe LNG Terminal.
