Luneng Baoqing Qixinghe South power station (鲁能宝清朝阳发电厂) is a proposed 4,000-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Heilongjiang Province, China.
Location
The map below shows the location of Qixinghe Township, the approximate location where the plant would be built in Baoqing County, Shuangyashan Prefecture, Heilongjiang Province.
Background on Project
SGCC's Luneng Group was planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 4,000 MW in Heilongjiang Province.[1][2]
In 2010 Luneng Group transferred its coal possessions, including coal power plants, to Guodian (State Grid). In 2012 Guodian transferred the coal assets to Shenhua Group Corporation.[3]
As of 2014 it appears the only power station Shenhua Group is pursuing is the 1200 MW Luneng Baoqing power station in Baoqing County.[4][5]
