Background
Marmara LNG Terminal is an LNG import onshore terminal in Tekirdag, Turkey.[5] Construction of the terminal began in 1989.[6] The plant is a base load plant and a means of peak shaving for gas purchased as LNG that is used to store imported LNG, dispatch regasified LNG via pipelines, and load LNG to trucks.[6] The terminal has three 85.000 cubic meters storage tankers.[6]
