Background

Mawson Infrastructure Group began developing its Washington County facility at Fall Line Industrial Park in the summer of 2020. The initial 1-acre development was enlarged to cover 15 acres by April 2021. The facility now has an operational capacity of 230 MW and sources its power from the Sandersville municipal utility service, a participant of the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia (MEAG). According to company data, around 75% of its used power comes from carbon-free energy sources.
