Background

The Midla Natchez Gas Pipeline is owned and operated by Third Coast Midstream, formerly American Midstream. The pipeline was put in service in April 2017, replacing the 91-year-old Midla Pipeline.[5]

In June 2015, American Midstream (Midla) LLC filed application with U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission seeking authorization to construct the pipeline.[6] The approval was granted in December 2015. FERC gave approval to begin service of the pipeline in April, 2017. [4]
