The expansion branch of the pipeline (Russian: Газопровод-отвод Юргамыш – Куртамыш) runs from Yurgamysh, Yurgamyshsky District, Kurgan Oblast, to Kurtamysh, Kurtamyshsky District, Kurgan Oblast, Russia.[1][4]

The pipeline was included in the gasification program of Gazprom for 2021-2025 for the Kurgan region.[1] In June 2021, it was reported that construction has started.[4] It is expected to start operating during fall of 2022.[7]
